It’s been a very busy February for everyone at SDI.
For me in particular, I have been out and about at various events both speaking and presenting. In addition to speaking at the magnificent Emirates stadium, the home of Arsenal, at Hornbill Software’s annual customer event, I have also visited the service desks of several service companies to present their new or upgraded SDI certifications. This has included Hill Dickinson in Liverpool, Vocalink in Harrogate, the Co-Operative Bank in Skelmersdale and Leek, and the University of St Andrews in Scotland, the first university in Europe to receive SDI certification.
SDI has also seen Cherwell achieve the world’s first accreditation of the reporting capability of service desk software products, so it’s been a great month for validating the strength of both service desks and service desk products against to the definitive SDI industry standards.
And all of this follows an amazing January with Logica achieving the first 5* World Class SDI certification. 2013 really is turning out to be the year that the service desk comes of age!
